So I just typed this whole entry and somehow it didn´t get posted. Ugh. So here´s the jist of it

- Went to Córdoba, really pretty city with lots of trees and ancient stuff. Awesome weather.
- Loved the Jewish Quarter, Roman bridge, and Synagogue (one of only three left in the Iberian Peninsula, was surprised how much the Hebrew writing and designs resembled the Alhambra)
- The Mezquita was amazing. Mixture of different religions, time periods, and rulers was unbelieveable. The pictures and descriptions couldn´t do it justice. Had lunch in the shade of the orange trees under the bell tower. Tough life, right?
- As we were eating ice cream among all the rich history of the city, we started talking about how ridiculously fortunate we are. God has blessed me in so many ways and I´m thankful for the opportunities I have been given.
- On our way home we saw the biggest botellón I´ve ever seen (unless you count all of Cádiz during Carnaval) outside of Hípercor. It was for the Fiesta de la Primavera which proves that apparently the first day of Spring is a big deal! We opted to stay in and watch an episode of Spain on the Road Again that showed Córdoba :)
- When we got back Juli Juli was already out with her friends so she left our lukewarm dinner in the oven (aka toaster oven). Surprisingly, it was not bad. It´s just disgusting how much I eat here, especially when there´s no shortage of bread and french fries at dinnertime and I have a stash of chocolate in my closet drawer...
