Slept in a little bit, then went to find Halcón Viajes that Julia told us has the best deals around for trips. Well, the drizzle and Día de Andalucía spoiled those plans. Since it´s a regional holiday, absolutely everything was closed so we ended up just wandering around our neighborhood for quite a while. We found some cute little places to try that we´d never seen before. It was so fun to just see our neighborhood from a different view even if the streets were completely empty! Came back, had lunch, layed around, then met Mitch around 5 to do some more walking. We figured there would be some sort of celebration going on for the holiday but we were definitely wrong. Everything was still closed, but we did find a couple cute plazas, a crêpe place, and a delicious-looking Mexican restaurant that we´re planning on visiting sometime soon. We grabbed some ice cream on the way back then stayed in for the rest of the night. Taylor and I just bummed around, had dinner, read, and watched On the Road Again - España on her computer. It´s so cool, we watched the episode where they (Gweneth Paltrow, Mario Batali, some Spanish chick, and a famous cookbook writer guy) were in Andalucía, right where we were yesterday!
